• Can I use VOLI for free?

  The Free plan is available for personal, non-commercial use only, and attribution is required. If any of the following applies to you, please subscribe to a paid plan: - You earn revenue from views - You use VOLI to create content for third parties and earn revenue from it - You are a business (the Free plan is for individuals only) These conditions apply even if you have purchased top-up credits. Commercial use and attribution exemption are available on paid plans only. • When and how many credits are deducted?

  Credits are deducted at the moment you run a feature. The rates are: - Text to Speech — 1 credit per 30 characters - Voice Changer — 1 credit per 6 seconds - Video — 10 credits per second Speech and voice conversion are deducted when you run generation. Regenerating with a different voice or adjusted settings is deducted the same way. Video is deducted when you create the finished video. Creating a draft, previewing, and generating voice during video production are all free. Because AI processing costs are incurred each time you generate, credits are deducted at generation rather than at download. Once a file has been generated, you can download it any number of times, with no time limit. Subscription credits are used first. Once they are exhausted, top-up credits are deducted.

• Is there a limit on how much I can generate at once?

  The amount you can process in a single run depends on your plan. - Text to Speech — up to 200 characters per paragraph (Free, Starter) / 300 (Creator) / 500 (Production, Max) - Voice Changer — up to 3 minutes per use (Free) / 10 (Starter) / 20 (Creator) / 30 (Production, Max) This is the maximum per run and is separate from your monthly allowance. For longer content, split it into multiple paragraphs.

• What if I run out of credits?

  You have two options. Top up credits — Add as many credits as you need without changing your plan. This is useful when work is concentrated in a single month. Upgrade your plan — If your monthly usage is consistently high, a higher plan is more economical. Upgrades take effect immediately, and your remaining subscription credits are added to the new plan's credits. Top-up credits are also available on the Free plan.

• How long can I use top-up credits?

  Top-up credits never expire. They are not removed when you cancel your plan and remain usable on the Free plan. Subscription credits are granted anew on each billing date, and any remaining balance does not roll over. Since subscription credits are deducted first, your top-up credits stay untouched until you need them. Credit top-up purchases are non-refundable. Please review the notice before completing payment.

• How do I make a video? (Marketing Shorts · Story Shorts)

  Video Studio offers two ways to create a video. Marketing Shorts — Paste a webpage link and VOLI analyzes it to generate the script, narration, subtitles, and visuals automatically. Story Shorts — Build a conversation-style video scene by scene with characters. For both, creating a draft and previewing are free. Credits are deducted based on the length of the finished video when you create it. On the Free plan, you can use previews. Video Studio is currently offered in Beta. Its scope will expand upon general release.

• What are the copyright terms and usage scope for voices?

  VOLI offers three types of AI voices. Please review the copyright policy and permitted usage for each before use. [ Basic Voice ] - AI voices developed in-house by VOLI. Royalty-free and available for commercial use. - You may create content and use it commercially without restriction. [ Open Voice ] - AI voices uploaded by users, available to all VOLI members free of charge. - Because of how these voices are registered, VOLI does not guarantee copyright or usage rights. We do not recommend using voices that imitate celebrities or specific individuals, or that carry copyright risk, for anything beyond experimentation or personal use (including content creation, publishing, and commercial use). - Legal responsibility rests with the user. For safer use, we recommend Basic Voice or Custom Voice, for which copyright has been reviewed. [ Custom Voice ] - A made-to-order AI voice available only to its creator — a premium feature for paid members. - Design the voice you want, generate it as an AI voice, and use it commercially after confirming copyright considerations. [ Custom Characters ] - Characters for Story Shorts, created by combining a visual and a voice. - Custom Characters do not consume Custom Voice slots; voices are selected from VOLI's voice library. - If you select an Open Voice, responsibility for the commercial use of content created with that character follows the Open Voice terms above.

• How can I get more natural voice conversion? (Record and convert | Voice Changer)

  1. Record in a quiet environment. The cleaner and less noisy the source audio, the better the conversion quality. 2. Keep a consistent distance and volume. Frequent changes in mic distance or large volume swings can degrade quality. 3. Speak clearly and naturally. The intonation and breathing of your original audio carry through to the result.

• How can I get more natural speech generation? (Write a script and generate | Text to Speech)

  1. Follow standard spelling and sentence rules. The closer your text is to standard usage, the more accurately it will be voiced in context. 2. Use punctuation ( . , ? ! … ) and spacing to control pacing. Commas add breathing room; periods, question marks, and exclamation marks close sentences naturally. 3. Adjust the options available per AI model in the detailed settings. Fine-tune pitch and speed for a more natural delivery.

• How do I add attribution?

• Do paid plans also require attribution?

  No. Paid plans can be used without attribution. However, if you wish to remix or edit audio files into new content after your subscription has ended, you will need to resubscribe to a paid plan.

• Are there restrictions on how generated audio can be used?

  To keep VOLI trustworthy and to prevent harm to third parties, we prohibit generating illegal or antisocial content through the Service, as well as uploading such content to the Service. If any issue arises from the use or generation of such content, full responsibility rests with the user. • Can I use VOLI for free in a competition or contest?

  Individuals may use the Free plan for competitions, provided attribution is included. - If you are entering as an individual and do not want to include attribution, subscribe to a paid plan. - If you are entering as a team or on behalf of an organization, please subscribe to the Production plan.   Yes. VOLI provides an official API for businesses and developers who want to integrate AI voice technology into their services or products. Both Text to Speech and Voice Changer are supported, and custom voices can be created for enterprise use.
